.boku wa imouto ni koi wo suru.

[movie]

synopsis:

The twins Yori and Iku were very close to each other during childhood as Yori smiled and stated to his parents "I love Iku, I'm going to marry Iku when I'm older". However in recent time, now both being teenagers, Yori has started to stay away from her. She thinks her brother hates her but his distance results in his feelings towards her which are stronger than simple sibling feelings. This causes him sleepless nights since they both share the same bedroom. He tries several things to erase his feelings which includes applying to attend a boarding school in another city and even going out and sleeping with Iku's best friend, Tomoka. However when Iku starts to get interested in boys, Yori becomes overly jealous and now wants his sister more than anything else. So he confesses to Iku wanting them to stay together and is willing to do everything to stay together. However Yori wants Iku as a lover not as a loyal sister and as he presses on she begins to gain feelings for him as well... but nothing ever goes as planned.

i view:

the movie was incredibly soundless!
it could use more dialogue and the story could move a bit faster with shorter pauses.
more background music would also help.
if it weren't for matsujun's good looks, i won't even bother watching it.
while watching the trailer (months ago), i expected much.
i thought the story was nice considering it's a forbidden love and i was curious as to how the story will go.
anyway, to sum things up, i just don't think it met my expectations.
by far, this would get the lowest rating i've ever given.
sorry.

.rozen maiden träumend.

[anime]

synopsis:

The second season of Rozen Maiden, subtitled träumend (トロイメント, toroimento?) has a slightly darker tone. Träumend is German for "dreaming." The episodes are more plot-driven and deal with topics such as "Father" — the Rozen Maiden's creator — and the inevitable conclusion to the "Alice Game." Jun does not yet attend school (he has much work to make up before he can go back), but studies at home and at the local library. He is much more willing and eager to go outside the house, and seems to have even grown fond of the ever-present dolls. Shinku has also been changed, thanks to the events of the previous season, but she is generally as aristocrat-like as ever, lecturing and punishing Jun at every opportunity. Several new non-doll characters are introduced, including a riddle-spouting, tuxedo-attired anthropomorphic rabbit and two mysterious men who operate a doll shop, one of whom bears an uncanny resemblance to Rozen. The final group of dolls also appear this season: Kanaria, the second doll, Barasuishou, who introduces herself as the seventh doll, and Kirakishou, the true seventh doll.

i view:
